The Tesla iV1 is a case designed for MRI systems, intended to operate a single B. Braun Spaceplus infusion pump (Perfusor? or Infusomat?) during MRI examinations (MRI procedures). The Tesla iV1 does not control the operation of the installed infusion pump.
The B. Braun Spaceplus infusion pump is factory-installed and is directly dependent on the TESLA iV device in which it is installed.
The Tesla iV1 is a radiofrequency-shielded enclosure that can optionally be mounted on a cart or attached to an IV pole.
The design of the enclosure allows the system to be positioned in the MRI environment. It provides a shielded space for a single B. Braun Spaceplus infusion pump (Perfusor? or Infusomat?).
A window allows direct viewing of the inserted infusion pump, enabling observation of all pump states and alarm conditions.
The Tesla iV1 is equipped with input and output ports for infusion tubing. The Spaceplus infusion pump (Perfusor? or Infusomat?) can only be installed or removed by authorized service personnel.
The Tesla iV1 is conditionally MRI-compatible and intended for use in an MRI environment.
It is equipped with an integrated battery allowing autonomous operation of the infusion pump.
It features a Magnetic Field Indicator (MFI) that measures the magnetic field and serves as a positioning aid for trained users, to position the Tesla iV1 within the permitted magnetic field range.
If the permitted magnetic field is exceeded, trained users are warned in advance by visual and acoustic signals, before any damage to the devices can occur.
The Tesla iV1 is not connected to any network.
