TRANSBORD transfer mattress

TRANSBORD is a transfer mattress with an external nylon cover intended for the effortless handling of patients between two horizontal beds or examination table.

First, the patient is installed in a lateral decubitus position.
The mattress is then positioned in contact with the shoulder.
The patient is returned to the supine position on the transfer mattress.
The patient is pushed laterally at the level of the shoulder, hip and lower limbs towards the second table plane.
The patient is returned to the lateral decubitus position and the transfer mattress is removed.

Whenever possible, it is necessary to remove the TRANSBORD transfer mattress during the x-ray examination in order to avoid any artifact in the image.

The transfer mattress can be protected for each patient by a disposable cover.
