Catheter fixation device
SKATER catheters provide suture-free safety while providing patient comfort.
SKATER FIX is a latex-free catheter fixation device that includes
a thin central support with hydrocolloid adhesive and which is covered with a
medical grade non-woven adhesive.
A soft foam support block and Velcro prevent the catheter from twist.
The catheter is mechanically secured with Velcro and minimal length
of tape is in direct contact with the catheter.
The Velcro cover can be opened to inspect the puncture site.
In this way you have the possibility to monitor the absence of infection or
leak whenever necessary.
