Varay silicone filters

Their ideal absorption, twice the one of muscle, confers a reasonable thickness to them. Light, they are easily transported and are not cumbersome.
They are placed with precision in contact with the patient and do not break. They adhere to the vertical by suction cup effect (to wash if they slip too much).
They resist to alcohol, acetone and heat. They are waterproof and can be sterilized in autoclave.
Used in conventional and numerical radiology.

“GENTLE SLOPE” FILTER :
8° Declivity. The visualisation of straight borders avoids to use metal chain.

“LITTLE PRISM” FILTER :
37° - 52° Declivities for simple and more difficult filtration. Velcro at the ends. To place on the collimator using Velcro.
Uses :
For fat abdomen, makes it possible to divide by 4 the slope of the area to radiograph.
Positions :
Under the patient
Above the patient (decrease radiation to the patient)
On collimator (tube). Fixing with Velcro

45° Declivity . The visualisation of straight borders avoids to use metal chain.
