BURLINGTON PVEST EVAL Radiation Protection Vest
Maximum Lead Protection and Enhanced Lumbar Support for Extended Procedures
The BURLINGTON PVEST EVAL radiation protection vest has been specifically designed for medical imaging professionals performing long-duration procedures that require a high level of protection and exceptional comfort. Thanks to its full-overlap design and 100% lead-based protective material, it provides complete front and back coverage while helping to reduce fatigue associated with prolonged wear.
Its ergonomic design closely follows the body's shape for improved comfort and support. The enhanced lumbar support system and elastic back panel transfer a significant portion of the weight to the hips, considerably reducing the load placed on the shoulders and back. This optimised weight distribution makes the PVEST EVAL one of the most comfortable solutions for extended interventional procedures.
EVAL Material: Certified Protection up to 150 kV
Manufactured from BURLINGTON EVAL lead-based protective material, the PVEST vest provides consistent lead equivalency across the full range of imaging energies used in medical environments.
- Available lead equivalencies: 0.35/0.25 mm Pb or 0.50/0.25 mm Pb
- Tested and approved from 50 kV to 150 kV in accordance with IEC 61331-1:2014
- Suitable for procedures using X-ray energies above 125 kV
- Lead equivalency determined using the inverse broad beam geometry method in accordance with IEC 61331-1:2014
- 100% lead-based protective material for consistent radiation attenuation
